A world class 150 bed Hospital (UNM Children Hospital) has been established in Kamrej, Surat (near our SUGEN power plant).
The Hospital has been operational since 2020 and provides Secondary and Tertiary treatment to children

UNM Children Hospital
UNM Children Hospital is a state-of-the-art 150 bed Paediatric Hospital has been established with child-centric approach the aim is to make the children forget their ailments and be nurtured back to normalcy. The Bhumi-Poojan of UNM Children Hospital, was carried out by Smt. Nayanaben Shah on 18th October, 2018. The goal is to provide a hospital that comprises of best healthcare practices at no cost to the beneficiaries. Spread over 20,000 Sq.mtrs the hospital complex has 14 wings, 8 on the ground floor and 6 on the 1st floor. The entire project is planned to be operationalised in a phase manner. The hospital is made under technical guidance from Dr. Prasad Godbole from Sheffield Children Hospital UK and Pioneer Health care UK and he along with his team ensured that the facilities compete with the best in the world. Zydus Health care has been providing guidance and cooperation and help for not only operationalising but also supporting till the Hospital is able to be on its own fully.
In its first phase, facilities like out-patient, in-patient, emergency along with the pharmacy are being operationalised and based on experience, subsequent phases comprising of Operation Theatre, Critical Care units and diagnostic facilities will be started. With a view to address the initial teething issues, Outpatient ward has started operating. The sample collection room, has well equipped Pneumatic tube system to transport the samples directly to the lab with all facilities including Outpatient, indoor patient, emergency, diagnostic lab, radiology & pharmacy are matching to the NABH standards.
Sumangal
SWADHAR has evolved and is now renamed as SUMANGAL – which means auspicious – blessings from all senior people and well-wishers. Multi-disciplinary OPD Clinic for under privileged people of all age groups. The main Sumangal complex consisting of two buildings houses the Medical Officers, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and the orthopedic specialties - along with a four bedded day care facility in the first building. The second building is equipped with the, X-ray room, Dental wing and the physiotherapy room. Established since 2012 till date 4 Lakh+ OPDs have been conducted
