In a span of 12 years, through the Sikshasetu programme, we have reached 45+ primary schools in 40+ villages across Gujarat, 400+ teachers and more than 15000 students and 3500+ parents from economically disadvantaged sections of the rural communities and urban slums.

Through the Shardashish Scholarship Programme, we provide global educational opportunities to bright and committed students, who are economically challenged.

Health Care

Under the Reach Initiative we have conducted 566 camps in 1600 villages and screened 1.5 lakh children in Gujarat. About 70,000 children were brought completely out of malnourishment by providing “Mauji” biscuits. Iron supplements provided free of cost to total 18,791 anemic children and 91% children were brought completely out of anemia.

Health and Hygiene programme is being carried out in 1200+ villages, by providing free sanitary pads to 70000+ adolescent girls on monthly basis. 8 Pediatric Primary Healthcare Centers (PPHC) have been established in Gujarat and so far more than 3.5 lac children have benefited from these PPHCs.

Arts, Culture and Wellbeing

Through 5 editions of Abhivyakti – The City Arts Project, we have curated 300+ upcoming artists and provided them a platform to showcase their creativity and reached out to an audience of more than 2,82,000 people who have enjoyed various art forms absolutely free.

In the recently concluded 5th edition, over 1.69 lac people visited and enjoyed the 37 plays, 32 Musical Performances, 37 Dance performances, and 50 Visual Art works presented by 87 artists.


Through Pratiti – an initiative to restore old and create new Gardens and Lakes, so far, a total of 15 Gardens and 2 Lakes across 2 cities have been restored / built at par with international standards. Reflecting their popularity within the community, the Parks and Lakes receive annual footfalls of more than 56 lacs.

Ecological restoration of Shetrunjay Hills, Palitana (Gujarat) - As part of this challenging project, UNM Foundation endeavours to restore the Shetrunjay Hills, an extremely important ecological and religious site, to its lost glory.
